The problem
The Maglumi runs immunoassay panels such as thyroid, fertility, and tumor markers. Its desktop software offered no practical data connection to the HMS, so results went out only as printouts.
How we connected it
The Maglumi software prints results to a configured directory instead of paper. The receiver watches that directory, parses each new file into structured results, and queues them for the HMS.
Results go through the same review screen as every other analyzer, or submit automatically when the lab enables it.
No wire needed
When there is no serial port or network protocol, the print stream becomes the integration point.
Review or auto-submit
The lab chooses per instance whether a technician approves each result or clean results flow through.
Same pipeline, same audit trail
File-based results get the identical encryption, logging, and review treatment as wire-based ones.
Like every Tensai Health Receiver deployment, results are encrypted at rest, personal data is scrubbed from logs, every action lands in an audit trail, and data is purged after submission.
